Herb`s in Ashdown

Everything was outstanding. New ownership took over about 6 months ago and has really made the place over the top good. Will definitely go back.

Amazing food. Quality family service. Also closed Sundays in honor of the Lord's Day.

So so bad. I mean truly terrible. The burger was awful and the fish . . . inedible. The smell . . .

Food was great. The employee that brought our was not very personable, just asked who got what, I asked for some butter and replied "Okay" as she continued to walk away, when she came back with the butter did ask if we needed anything else, just walked off and never came back to check on us again. More people skills with better customer service.

This is a great place! We have eaten here many times! Great burgers! Always fresh! Mexican plate is delicious for not being a Mexican restaurant! Portions are just right! Servers are always polite and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Always clean. Always on our list of places to eat when we're in town! Give it a try if you've not been!

Very poor service and it seem like they forgot about our order and we was told to. Go around back and they never came out by the time we got our burgers and fries. It was cold and I dont ever want to go back to this restaurant because of the poor quality of my meal when i called the order in.

Great burgers and shakes and I'd bet everything else would be also. Polite staff and owner is usually there.

Was hard to find menu. When asked what I wanted to drink I replied bottle water. Was told they don't have bottled water. Was given Styrofoam cup of ice. You would have thought it was an act of Congress to get water. I'm not from your home town and I wasn't impressed with service, restaurant looks like it needs upgrade and food needs improvements.

Service was not that great, food is sometimes okay. I got fried fish once and it was such small portions I became very disappointed. The only thing I deem worthy of praise is the country fried steak, or country fried chicken. And the apple or peach pie.

My goodness. This place is a hometown favorite and honestly so nostalgic. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is incredible and they always have the nicest people working! Whenever I come home, I love to stop in for a meal when I get the time!

This place is tiny and nondescript. You wouldn't think much of it just driving by. But then you notice that the parking lot is so full, folks are parking in the ditch to walk in and eat! We got 7 burgers all with different toppings, 3 different kinds of fries, and drinks. Everything was hot, delicious and most importantly, had every ingredient correct for our picky kids!

Would would never visit again. They were out of almost everything we asked for such as turkey for a Cobb salad turkey for anything other. Other people asked for stuff and they were out. If you want cheap Mexican food do it yourself at home. All they did was use frozen burritos and cover up with a yucky chili sauce canned beans. Why pay anything when you can just do it easily at home. Do not know how anyone gave this place a big rating.

Delicious food & great service

Great burger and deliciously crisp fries for a reasonable price. If you want something different it's worth a try. They also have nachos, salads, fish, plate lunches and more. Plus, it is right off the main road in Ashdown so you don't have to go far.

Their food used to be good a couple of years ago now it's just awful.. no salt or pepper on anything and chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak tastes awful..

Great place to eat a hometown style hamburger. Eaten there multiple times and it seems like the restaurant is underprepared for the food that week. They were out of a lot of the things we tried to order. But when we finally got something they had, it was great. This isn't much of a sit down restaurant but one of the workers came back and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was ok. Great hospitality.

Loved them I've been eating there for fifty years
